Delete Your Account
Last updated: 17 August 2026
You can permanently delete your Frendict account and its personal data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us if you no longer have access to the app.
1. Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open Frendict and go to the Profile tab
- Tap the account/settings icon to open My Account
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm and re-enter your password when prompted
Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period, and it cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in (lost access, uninstalled the app, etc.), email era@kutia.net from the address on your account, or with your Frendict username, and ask us to delete your account. We'll verify you're the account owner and process the request within a few days.
3. What gets deleted
The following is erased immediately and permanently:
- Email address, first and last name
- Profile photo (removed from storage, not just unlinked)
- Password (replaced so it can never be used to sign in again)
- Favorite team selection
- Friends list and any pending friend requests, on both sides
- Notifications and registered push-notification devices
- All active sessions, on every device you were signed into
4. What's retained, and why
Your username is replaced with an anonymous placeholder rather than removed outright. A minimal, anonymized record of past gameplay — challenges, predictions, and coin history tied to that placeholder — is kept indefinitely. This is solely because those records are shared with other users: someone else's challenge history, head-to-head record, or leaderboard result would otherwise be silently corrupted if we erased your side of it. None of it is linked back to your name, email, or any other identifying information once deletion completes.
Coins and similar in-app balances are virtual, have no cash value, and are not something that can be "returned" — deleting your account simply ends the balance along with everything else.
